Hannover - the Exciting State Capital

Maschseefest

The Maschseefest attracts over two million people a year to one of the biggest summer festivals in the North of Germany. Shaded avenues of trees and a palm-lined boulevard along the lake give the marathon nearly three week long party an incomparable maritime atmosphere.

Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen

The royal gardens of Herrenhausen are a real treat for visitors to the state capital. These unique gardens were created in 1666. You can enjoy a variety of stylistic orientations, baroque horticulture in the French style, the English landscaped garden and the botanical garden.

Niki de Saint Phalle

Hannover is Niki-City! She is the creator of the world famous Nanas and the first and so far only person to be given the freedom of the city of Hannover - Niki de Saint Phalle. She enjoyed a thirty year friendship with the city of Hannover - you will meet the works and the name of this great artist everywhere in the city.
