Game Parks

In Niedersachsens game parks, you can see native and endangered animals close up – from cute otters to bison.


Lüneburger Heide Game Park

Picture: Bird in the nature park Lueneburger HeathLüneburger Heide game park is right in the Lüneburger Heide conservation area and, in extensive grounds, houses more than 1000 animals and has generous gardens. The hilly grounds have a range of trees and peaceful ponds. A number of animal enclosures and aviaries housing native animals are located here.


Boar Park and Bison Enclosure

Picture: Battleing buffalos in game park SpringeThe Springe boar park is a zoo with an unusual history. In the 19th century the area was a designated hunting area for the Prussian court. Various game was kept, surrounded by a 16 kilometre long stone wall.


Schwarze Berge Game Park

The attractive woodland and grassland countryside has hills, valleys, a lake and a number of ponds. Discover the diversity of European animals and plants in their natural surroundings.


Serengeti Park - the Real Safari Experience
