Park Of The Senses in Laatzen

Air, water, fire, earth: four elements to see, hear, feel, taste and smell ensure sensory variety in the Park of the Senses. Water flows as a life-giving element, which thematically runs through the whole park. In the middle of the park is the valley of butterflies. A profusion of shrubs covers its gentle slopes, confined by shrub roses and diverse blooms – a paradise habitat for butterflies, bumble bees and other insects.

The garden of fragrances is a semi-circle on the warm, sunny south-west slope of the outlook hill. The shrubs and dwarf trees in the stone-lined garden beds give off spicy, sweet or fruity fragrances. And there are still lots more impressive nature highlights to marvel at, touch and enjoy.
