International Fireworks Competition

The best pyrotechnists in the world are invited to the Internationaler Feuerwerkswettbewerb (the international fireworks competition) in Hannover. Within a period of approx. 25 minutes, fireworks – a mix between acting, musical and individual productions, are put on display.

Niki de Saint Phalle-Grotto

She is the creator of the world-famous Nanas and Hannover’s first and so far only honorary citizen: Nicki de Saint Phalle, died 21st May 2002 in San Diego. She had been a friend of Hannover for over 30 years – visitors meet this great artist’s name and her works wherever they go.
