A visit to Germany’s biggest museum war ship is the best way to vividly experience everyday life at sea. The mast of the missile destroyer Mölders, which was put out of action three years ago, reaches up 40 meters high over the outdoor area of the Deutsches Marinemuseum in Wilhelmshaven. It features video documentation of former crewmembers describing their experiences and impressions on board. Other fascinating stops on the outdoor area are the submarine U 10 and the mine hunter Weilheim. You will get a fair idea of the atmosphere on board as you stroll along the corridors and cells of the ships, past the operation HQ and the living quarters of the crew members. In the main building of the German navy museum, visitors get the chance to indulge in some informative time travel through the changeful history of Germany and its marine force. In the summer, your visit to the museum is complemented by a historical harbour tour.

April to October 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., November to March 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Greetings, I have come across a very interesting and complex discovery regarding the sole survivor of the SMS Weisbaden. Apparently he was my father-in-laws grandfather.We have a sort of autobiography of Hugo Z. only his name is Walter Z. Can you verify which name is the real one and why would he change it?
