Bevern Castle

Bevern Castle, one of the grandest examples of architecture of the Weser Renaissance, was built at the beginning of the 17th century by Statius von Münchhausen. A very special experience awaits the castle visitors, at nightfall from May to September, Saturdays on the castle courtyard: experience the two multimedia productions NIGHTTIME CASTLE – and LEGEND NIGHT, which are shown alternately and send the guests on a journey in time through 400 years of castle history or a trip to the land of the legends of the Weserbergland.

During the day …
you can enjoy art and culture in the castle, listen to good music, watch a play in the theatre, dine like a king, and also get married, celebrate or hold a conference. The picturesque inner courtyard is perfect for sitting back and relaxing. Guided castle tours are offered on Sundays and Bank Holidays from April to October at 03:00 pm and arranged by telephone.


Baroque

Picture: Weserbergland - three rider of the royal riding school Bückeburg Bückeburg Royal Court Riding School – experience the biggest collection of gallant stallions from the Baroque breed in Europe, in the historic royal stables from 1608 at Bückeburg Castle. Allow yourself to be enchanted by the splendour of court culture. In authentic Baroque and Renaissance costumes successful riders celebrate the art of riding in the royal courts of Europe. Riding demonstrations, riding seminars and evening gala.
