Each year, the town of Wilhelmshaven and the German navy present a mixture of entertainment, encounters and culture along the "maritime mile". At the centre of this exciting celebration are a huge range of water and land based events. The weekend on the Jade is a jolly, international and maritime town and harbour festival with loads of music, events and fun!
The area in which events will take place stretches from Wilhelmshaven town centre to the Pumpwerk cultural centre along the Bontekai quay, where the festival will be officially opened, and on to the Kaiser-Wilhelm bridge, the South Beach and the Fliegerdeich. The German navy will be strutting its stuff in the eastern part of the naval arsenal.
