Experience the magnificent nature of the Grafschaft (county) Bentheim at the westernmost summit of Niedersachsen from an unusual perspective: by boat! Here, nature, sport and fun can be ideally combined. In the countryside of meadows, fields and forests picturesque villages and scattered farmyards huddle together. Canoe tours are offered on the Vechte and Dinkel rivers and in the city centre from Nordhorn trips with the excursion boats “Vechtesonne” and “Vechtestromer.” Or you can paddle yourself. Along the Vechte and Dinkel rivers you can discover several art objects from “kunstwegen.”
