Handelsweg

Length: 229 kilometres, 11 days

The 229 kilometres of the Handelsweg runs from Osnabruck in Lower Saxony to Deventer in the Netherlands, across rolling hills and broad plains. It was once trodden by travelling merchants, the 'Tödden', as they marched across Europe. The route is also, apart from a few kilometres, suitable for cyclists.
