Ahornweg

Picture: Two hikers on the Ahornweg in the region Osnabrücker Land Length: 95 kilometres, 5 days

The 95 kilometres of the Ahornweg run through the hilly southern part of the Osnabruck region around Bad Iburg in the form of a figure eight. Wooded hillsides, long views with some magnificent panoramas and now and again the maple trees (Ahorn in German) that give the route its name make a walk along the Ahornweg into an unforgettable experience. And not to leave out the little villages of the area, nestling into the countryside.
