Hikes and pilgrimages between heath, moor and North Sea

With the help of the moor troll called “Huvi” hikers in the Landkreis (county) Rotenburg (Wümme) can discover mystical moor strips or in the Nature and Adventure Park of Bremervörde take part in an exciting expedition into the mysterious realm of sensory perception. After a ramble through the Lüneburger Heide, forests, meadows and fields or along the courses of countless streams and rivers like the Wümme and Oste you can indulge in regional delicacies at one of the many mill cafés and inns.

Tip:
In 2006 the pilgrimage trail was opened as part of the “Baltic-Westphalian Jacob Route” between Stade and Bremen (120 km). This leads approx. 27 km through the (county) Rotenburg (Wümme) county.
