Out and about in the countryside around Hannover

Picture: Hannover Region - cycling on the green-belt-route With its river landscapes and due to its location the “Tourism Region of Hannover” has some very diverse landscapes; including for example the Lake Steinhude, the hilly landscape of the “Deister” or parts of the Lüneburger Heide. The route system of the region connects them and makes it possible to experience the variety of their spatial structures.

The colour blue identifi es the way and stands out well in contrast with the backdrop of the landscape. Different objects serve as route markers, e.g. wooden stakes, street lights, bridges, walls or works of art.
