Whether you're on a rail and bike tour or "bed and biking" it, you'll find yourself leaving the stresses and strains of everyday live behind you. Views stretching to the horizon, creaking mill wheels, old locks and beautiful avenues. Or if you prefer something a little harder, the climbs in the Harz mountains, the Weserberg region or Deister offer some real challenges to mountain bikers.

As well as German's most popular cycle route, the Weser cycle route, you'll find many themed routes, such as the Niedersachsen mill route or the international dollard route. All the routes connect the most beautiful areas of countryside, places and attractions. The "paddle and pedal" tour offers you the opportunity of switching between canoe and bicycle saddle as it takes your fancy.
