Bed & Bike - Bicycle Friendly Accommodation

Whether you're looking for a bed for the night on your bicycle tour or you just want to make a bike trip into the surrounding area from your holiday resort, bed & bike hotels and guesthouses are particularly bike friendly. They have fulfilled the conditions laid out by the German Cycling Federation (Allgemeinen Deutschen Fahrrad-Club - ADFC) and offer a few extra comforts for cyclists. The "Bett & Bike Niedersaschsen" brochure includes over 670 addresses with extensive information and maps and can be obtained for € 6.50 from the ADFC shop or bookshops (ISBN 3-85000-033-8, German language).

As well as safe bike parking facilities, bed & bike operators offer drying facilities for wet clothes and a generous power breakfast for a good start to the day in the saddle.
